She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hooper (Bill) and Edna Sharpe; and her siblings, Shirley, Wayne and Reggie.

She is survived by: her children, Ken Dean (Wendy) of Fredericton, David Dean (Maggie) of London, Ont, Judy Adams (Keith) of Campbellton, Doug Dean (Christine) of Darlings Island and Beverly Douthright (Peter) of Purvirnictuq; her sisters, Dorothy, Lynne and Helen; her husband Raymond Otto Dean; and her daughter-in-law Wendy. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
