It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cleve Hovey of Fredericton, New Brunswick, born in Ludlow, New Brunswick, who passed away on January 23, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Hovey and Eunice Hovey (Palmer); his grandson Richard "Ricky" Cleveland Hovey; and his siblings, Etta Hovey and Gerald Hovey The.

He is survived by: his wife Anne Marie Hovey; his sons, Richard Hovey (Wendy Spicer) of Bouctouche, NB, Robert Hovey of Moncton, NB and Rhys Hovey of Vancouver, BC; and his siblings, Monnah Hovey (George), Carol Annette Guitard (Sean), Gordon Hovey (Shirley), Dave Hovey (Marilyn) and Jeffrey Hovey (Sherry). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
