He was predeceased by: his parent Balram Maraj. He is survived by: his wife Jennella Balram; his children, Christofer Balram and Adele Lundy (Greg); his grandchildren, Benjamin, Cole and Claire; his siblings, David (Bibi), Jack, Basil, Peter (Seeta), Trevor (Cindy), Doshan (Latchmin), Bill and Vedo (Val); and his siblings-in-law, Trudy (Stan), Denis (Marilyn), Sylla (Rudy), Maria, Winston (Sue), Visham (Anne Marie) and Kenny (Margot).

In lieu of flowers, contributions to a charity of the donor's choice in Dr. Balram's name would be appreciated by the family.
