It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Chamel Khoury of Fredericton, New Brunswick, who passed away on June 30, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Michel Khoury and Zahia Isaac; his wife Faheme; and his siblings, Abdu, Gabriel, Raphael, Thérèse and Adane.

He is survived by: his children, Mona Akl (Ibrahim) of Montreal, Michael Khoury (Nadia) of Fredericton, Najwa Khoury and May Whalen (Christian) of Fredericton; his grandchildren, Margaux Khoury-Traboulsee (Josh), Chamel Akl (Adriana), Chamel Khoury (Anna), Nabil Akl, Chantal Khoury, Madeleine Whalen (Tyler), Rafaël Khoury, Myriam Whalen (Devin), Lara Whalen and Matthias Whalen; his great grandchildren, Maddox, Olivia, Lawrence, Marlow, Mariam, Jude, Issey, Evelyn and William; his sister May Chahine of Lebanon; and his siblings-in-law, Joseph Dable of Fredericton, Marie Dable of Fredericton, Yvonne Dableh of Australia, Joan Debly of Fredericton and Janet Debly of St John. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Memorial tributes in Chamel's memory may be made to a charity of donor's choice.
