She is survived by: her husband Rick Smith; her mother Marie Ward (Hartley); her son Bradley Bates of Fredericton, NB; her stepchildren, Kelly Smith of Fredericton, NB and Jason Smith; her siblings, Patricia Ward of Fredericton, NB, Elaine Jewett (Neil) of Fredericton, NB, Rod Croucher Jr. (Melanie) of Fredericton, NB, James Ward of Vancouver, BC and Dale Ward (Joe) of Thailand; and her stepsiblings, Tracy Matheson of Harvey, NB and Mike Murphy (Angie) of Hamilton, ON. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
