She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Bob" Giles; her parents, Herbert and Edna (Clewey); her siblings, Clair (Rae), Melvin and Phyllis Hopper; her son-in-law Brian McLaughlin; and also Majorie Tibert.
She is survived by: her children, Peter, Rebekah (Ontario) and Caroline (Fredericton); her sister Gloria Dawkins; and her grandchildren, Matthew, Benjamin, Emma, Nicholas, Olivia and Samuel.
