She was predeceased by: her father Kevin Burns; and her grandparents, Patrick, Edna Burns, Milton and Bette Barry.

She is survived by: her mother Wendy Burns (Barry) of Fredericton, NB; her sister Sara Burns of St. Andrews, NB; her aunts, Randi Barry of Beaver Harbour, NB and Sammy Thorne (Ross) of Beaver Harbour, NB; and her uncle Richard Burns (Susan) of Fredericton, NB. She is also survived by several cousins and many friends.

Due to restrictions surrounding COVID-19, there will be no visitation.

Donations in Carrie's memory can be made to Hospice Fredericton or to the charity of the donor's choice.
