She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest Hiscott; her daughter Shelley; and her siblings, Charles, Robert, Harold, Willena, Dorothy, Lyla and Jaye.

She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Murray (Duke) of Fredericton, NB, Wendy Newman (James) and Jill Ackerman (Peter); her grandchildren, Charles Murray (Sarah Ketcheson), Shannon (Brian Creary), Stephanie (Kenn Mainville), Joan Moriarity of Toronto, ON, Heather Webb of Cranfield, UK and Matthew Migliardi (Robin Moses); and her siblings, Eyleen MacLeod, Borden Higgins of Ormond Beach, FL and Curtis Higgins (Gerry).

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to a charity of the donor's choice.
