She is survived by: her husband Charles David Benedict; her children, Joel Benedict (Amanda Douglass) of Fredericton, NB and Crystal Porter (Jay) of Nelson Hollow, NB; her siblings, Albert Rice (Carol) of Bridgetown, NS and Cathy Batson of Bridgetown, NS; and her grandchildren, Skyla, Owen and Penelope Porter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
