She was predeceased by: her mother Roxie Mae Whitman (Watson); her husband Douglas Charles Sanderson (Doug); and her grandson Nicholas Caudle. She is survived by: her father Sidney Leonard of Hanwell, NB; her daughters, Karen Sanderson, Gail Caudle (Kyle), Truro and Cathy Detchevery (Brad); her grandchildren, Roxie, Kristopher, Coby, Daniel, Jordan, Robyn, Tessa and Connor; her great grandchild Ezra; and her siblings, Phylis Scott Fredericton (Eugene), Robert Whitman (Judy) of Lansdowne, NS., Brenda Whitman (Kenneth Hetherington), Vicki Whitman (Al Jones) and James Whitman (Erin) of Maugerville, NB.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
