Bernard Lapointe Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Lapointe (Fredericton, New Brunswick), who passed away on May 6, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alberta Lapointe (Tremblay) and Albert Lapointe; his niece Nancy; his nephew Serge; his brother-in-law Martin Alward; and his son-in-law Scott Martel.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Michael (Joanne), Johanne of Spokane, WA, Janine Fredericton (Greg Chapman), Amy Elliott Elmira (Gary), Jane Urquhart Charters Settlement (Tony) and Tammy Kingston (Louis); his siblings, Collette Groulx (late Denis) and Daniel (Lorraine) of Montreal, PQ.; his mother-in-law Barbara Alward; his sister Maxine; his siblings-in-law, Glen Ackerson and Lin Alward; and his grandchildren, Cassandra, Casey Wade (Erin Wade), Emily (Ethan Wade), Ryan (Natalie Elliott), Caleb (Luke Urquhart) and Alex (Gabriel Kingston).
