Barbara Louise Lawson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Louise Lawson (Fredericton, New Brunswick), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 8, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gunter and Neata Gunter (Urquhart); her sister Mary Lou Connell; and her brother-in-law Bert Dykeman. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Lawson of Fredericton, NB; her daughters, Stephanie Perry (Trevor), Rhonda Rushton (Derrick), Carolyn MacBain (John) and Jennifer Lawson (David Foord); her grandchildren, Craig, Colin Rushton, Ewan, Ryan, Kyle MacBain, Emma and Lily Murray; her siblings, John Gunter (Laureen) and Betty Dykeman; and her brother-in-law Charlie Connell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the York Funeral Home (302 Brookside Dr, Fredericton, NB E3A5K2). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Nashwaaksis United Church (46 Main St, Fredericton, NB E3A1C1).
