She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. Nelson and Marjorie H. Nelson (Addison); her brother David J. Nelson; and her friend Gail Campbell. She is survived by: her niece Krista Nelson of Kelowna, B. C; her nephew Kevin Nelson (Josephine); her great-niece Melissa; her great-nephew David of Fredericton; her sister-in-law Vivian Nelson of Fredericton; and her sister Jean Nelson.

Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Barbara would be appreciated by the family.
