He was predeceased by: his wife Esther Fraser (Timmins); his parents, Carl Fraser and Ruth Fraser (Yerxa); his sons, Paul, Carl and Edwin Fraser; and his stepson Ronald Kolijn.

He is survived by: his son Douglas Fraser (Sheila Martin) of Fredericton; his grandson Carl Gruben-Fraser; and his stepgrandchildren, Chris, Mark and Julie Martin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
