She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Ackles and Emma Ackles (Brownell) of Northport, NS.; her husband Donald Murray; her close friend Cyril Tobin; and her siblings, Mickey, Lornie and Elsie.

She is survived by: her sister Jeanette Jackson of Amherst, NS; her children, Ted Murray (Pam) of Corner Brook, NL, Diane Fraser (Ken) of Northport, NS and Jean Murdoch (Steven) of Fredericton, NB; her grandchildren, Larissa, Laurel, Donald, Mark, Luke, Kendra and Shane; and her great grandchildren, Ethan, Cooper, Gray and Markus. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
