She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyrice Chiasson and Barbara Chiasson (Duplessis); her husband Olaf; her son Brian; her siblings, Stella, Therese, Tim, Emile and Edmond; and her half-siblings, Lawrence, Donald and Leonie.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Hansen (Ken Wetzel) of Ottawa, Denise Hansen (Barry Gaul) of Halifax, Janice Hansen (Jim Theodorlis) of Toronto, Ken (Anne) of Ottawa and Garry (Beth) of Fredericton; her siblings, Aldea Hachey of Chatham, NB and Gerry Chiasson of Bridgewater, NS.; her grandchildren, Lisa, Jennifer, Lauren, Leah, Gina, Kevin, Brian, Nina and Madeline; and her great grandchildren, Henry, Veronica, Adeline, Jeremy, Nora, June and Tess. She is also survived by five children.
