He was predeceased by: his parents, Placide Babineau and Olézine Babineau (Guimond); his wife Huberte (Maillet); his siblings, Marie-Anne (Albert), Roger Babineau (Marie) and Fidèle Babineau (Camilla); and his half-siblings, Anita, André and François.
He is survived by: his children, Chantal Babineau-Clark (Chris) of Fredericton, NB and Sébastien (Karine Turner) of Ottawa, ON; and his siblings, Laurette Sedan (late John) of Ancaster, ON, Cécile Scimie (late Joe) of Ancaster, ON, Yvette Arsenault of Moncton, Andréa Arsenault (Irenée) of St-Ignace and Yvon Babineau (Aline) of Memramcook. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Donations in Alcide's memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, NB Diabetes Canada, the Extral Mural Program and Parkinson Canada would be appreciated by the family.
