He is survived by: his children, Thomas of Calgary, AB, Peter Schiffers of Calgary, AB, Doris Craig (Jim) of Panama, Diana Fairweather (Doug) of St. Stephen, NB, Ellen Gallant (Paul) of Minto, NB and Alvine MacIver (Ken) of Minto, NB; and his siblings, Hans (Ellie) of London, ON, Reimund Schiffers (Trix) of London, ON and Kathe Wittgruber of London, ON. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
