He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alice Whitney (Willcox) of Fredericton and Russell "Lee" Whitney; his significant other Amie Sue Parsons of Sussex Corner; his children, Brandon Smith, Melanie VandeBrand of Millstream, Megan Thomas (Shawn) of Wards Creek, Cody Smith of Sussex and Tyrese Whitney of Sussex; his grandchildren, Harmony, Rylee, Maddix and Kohan; his siblings, Tran "Jacob" (Shannon) of Fredericton, Hannah Westner (Wolfgang) of Fredericton and Rebecca Whitney of Fredericton; his stepchildren, Julie Parsons of Alberta, Jordan Parsons of Alberta, Jadyn Parsons of Alberta and Jacob Parsons of Sussex Corner; his mother-in-law Helen Feltham of Searsville; and his sister-in-law Jessica Augustine (Ian) of Searsville. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and many friends and extended family.
