He was predeceased by: his parent William Brooks; and his siblings, Edna Rideout (Weldon), Orpha McHatten (Charlie), Harold Brooks (Phyllis) and Peter Brooks.
He is survived by: his parent Mildred Brooks (Shaw); his wife Shirley; his daughters, Jane Russell (Darrah), Lisa DesRoches (Brent) and Natalie Haines (Ron); his grandchildren, Chaundra Eager (Matt), Chantelle Vahi, Katie Überton (Mark), Corey Delong, Victoria Russell, Jordan Russell, Gina DesRoches and Brody Lyon; his great grandchildren, Fred, Charlee, Theo Eager and Damian Überton; and his sister-in-law Hazel Brooks. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
