Letha M. Gaunce Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Letha M. Gaunce (Florenceville, New Brunswick), born in Simonds, New Brunswick, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 22, 2024 at the age of 98. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earle Ebbett and Gladys Ebbett (Underhill); her husband Charles; her daughter-in-law Linda Gaunce; and her siblings, Harry, Claude, Hazen, Audrey, Nina and Wendell.
She is survived by: her children, Gerry McBain (Don) of Picton, ON, Allen Gaunce (Cathy) of Orleans, ON, Jeff Gaunce (Patty) of Bristol, NB and Robyn Oakes (Jeff) of Upper Kent, NB; her grandchildren, Michelle Gaunce, Sarah McBain (Billy), Zachary Gaunce, Damon Gaunce (Sheena), Elizabeth McBain (Aaron), Crystal Kent (Tom), James McBain (Robyn), Kathleen Patterson (Ted), Elaina Oakes, Cody Oakes (Kayla) and Blake Oakes (Ella); and her sister Alice Cogswell. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the L. R. Giberson Funeral Directors (207 Burnham Rd, Florenceville-Bristol, NB E7L1Z1). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the L. R. Giberson Funeral Chapel (207 Burnham Rd, Florenceville-Bristol, NB E7L1Z1).
Donations made to the Wharton Cemetery, Beechwood Baptist Church, Bath Fire Department or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
