It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia S. McGuigan (Florenceville, New Brunswick), who passed away on December 23, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis Oakes and Dorothy Oakes (Martin Butterfield); her brother Dale "Hud" Oakes; her brother-in-law Frank McDougall; her mother-in-law Gladys McGuigan; and her sister-in-law Carolyn McGuigan.
She is survived by: her husband Earl; her daughters, Michelle Chase (Nathan), Kara McGuigan (Ryan), Lisa McLaughlin (Darren) and Nicole Clark (Chance); her grandchildren, Kadence, Keleigh, Kamden, Carter (Maeve), Casin, Madison and Mavrick; her sisters, Marion McDougall and Beverly Billings (Ross); and her siblings-in-law, Delores McGuigan, Cathy Pickard and Jack McGuigan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extend family members.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the L. R. Giberson Funeral Directors (207 Burnham Rd, Florenceville-Bristol, NB E7L1Z1). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM.
