She was predeceased by: her nephew Darrell Laverty; and her grandparents, Allan, Gladys Laverty, Ernest and Lilian Peters.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Johnson; her mother-in-law Shirley Johnson; her parents, Glenn Laverty and Mary Laverty; her siblings, Ed Laverty (Roz), Jennifer Irving (Neil) and Sandra Hawkins (Jerry); her nieces and nephews, Ashley Leitch (Chris), Chad Farrell, Jake Farrell, Dale Farrell (Ang), Kelly Farrell-Smyth (Erik), Charles, Jill (Nathan), Colin, Olyndra, Neelah Irving, Ella and Willow Hawkins; her great-nephews, Axel, Levi, Wyatt Farrell, Max and Theo Irving; and her pets, Parker and Smidge Johnson. She is also survived by her many aunts, uncles and cousins, and the friends.
