It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Blake A. DeMerchant (Florenceville, New Brunswick), born in Holmesville, New Brunswick, who passed away on March 11, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick DeMerchant and Stella DeMerchant (McDougall); and his brother Linwood. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his daughters, Laurie Oakes (Bill) and Lisa Patterson (Lewis); his grandsons, Cameron Oakes and Bo Patterson; his siblings, Roland DeMerchant (Clara), Allen DeMerchant (Sharon), Wanda Daigle (John) and Beverly Power; and his sister-in-law Ola DeMerchant. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
