She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Shortridge and Irene Shortridge (Vallant). She is survived by: her husband Donald I. Doughty of Fairhaven, NB; and her sons, Kenneth Doughty (Bonnie) of Fredericton, NB, Robert "Bob" Doughty (Janice) of Fairhaven, NB and Douglas Doughty (Joan) of Toronto, ON. She is also survived by two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several cousins.
