He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Ward and Mary Ward (Matthew); his wife Cecilia Ward; and his siblings, Thomas Ward, Patrick Ward, Freeman Ward, Albert Ward, John Ward and Irene Paul.
He is survived by: his children, Shelley Ward of Eel Ground, Tanya Ward (Sandy Allison) of Eel Ground and Stewart Ward (Amanda) of Eel Ground; his siblings, Philomena Ward of Eel Ground, Mary Jane Simonson of Eel Ground, Barbara Isaac (Gordon) of Listuguj, Mary Ann Ward (Burton) of Red Bank, Lucy Martin (Richard) of Eel Ground, Wilfred Ward (Shirley) of Eel Ground, Anthony Ward of Eel Ground and Raymond Ward of Eel Ground; his grandchildren, Krista, Charolette, Dillin, Liana, Dakota, Mathyis and Allison; and his great grandchild Mlayah. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
