It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mathieu Cyr (Edmundston, New Brunswick), born in Notre Dame de Lourdes, New Brunswick, who passed away on December 24, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis P. Cyr and Ernestine Cyr (Michaud); and his sisters, Jeannine and Rina. He is survived by: his siblings, Théo (Marguerite Thériault) of Madawaska, Roland (late Noëlla Oakes) of Presque Isle, Maine, Onile (Gaëtane Ringuette) of Notre-Dame, Rino of Saint-Leonard, Gérald (Jacqueline Thibeault) of Montreal, Huguette (Christian Desjardins) of Saint-Leonard, Laurette (Eric Desjardins) of Notre-Dame, Françoise (late Régis Lebel) of Siegas, Marc (Mona Thibodeau) of Notre-Dame and Nicole (Bertrand Aubin) of Saint-André; and his brother-in-law Rino Morneault (late Jeannine) of Saint-Hilaire. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
