She was predeceased by: her parents, Camille Violette and Alice Violette (Cyr); and her siblings, Camille Violette, Leo-Candide Violette, Alvine Guerrette, Gilberte Lasalle, Isabelle Couturier and Jeannine Gagnon.

She is survived by: her son Paul Laforest of Grand Falls; her grandsons, Samuel, Daniel and Kevin; her great grandchildren, Emma, Kris and Abigail; and her sister-in-law Charlotte Violette (late Camille) of Edmundston. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
