He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Daniel and Bernadette (Cayouette); his wife Diane Akerley (Levesque); his daughters, Sandra, Thibodeau (Serge) of Saint-Basile, Chantal Lavoie (André) and Carole Akerley (Kelly Bernard) of Saint-Leonard; his grandchildren, Annie, Joël, Rémi and Cindy; his great grandchild Jacob; his sisters, Isabelle Lakatos of Saint-Leonard and Della Durepos of Sainte-Anne; his brother-in-law Albeo "Bilou" Michaud (late Estelle); and his siblings, Harold, George and Estelle. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
