She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Crystal; and her sister Carolann. She is survived by: her parents, Stewart Bernard and Mrs Margaret DiMaggio; her boyfriend Gilles Bossé; her children, Keith Gagnon, Steve Gagnon (Steven), Thomas Gagnon (Josée Deschênes), Samantha Violette of St-Basile and Michael Violette; her grandchildren, Faith, Pearl, Ely, Savannah, Macey, Nevaeh, Hunter, Layla, Noah, Breanna and Dakota; and her siblings, Robert Bernard, Maria Bernard of Ottawa, John Bernard, Johanna Bernard and Patricia Bernard.
