He was predeceased by: his parents, Mederic and Florence (Michaud); his sister Denise Bourgoin Cyr; and his nephew Ricky Desjardins. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Caron; his daughter Anick Bourgoin (Cory McCue) of Drummond; his grandchildren, Jayden, Emilie and Lorie; and his siblings, Donald (Jacinthe) of Drummond, Linda (Robert Lepage) of Saint-Basile, Yves (Brenda) of New Denmark, Suzanne (Sylvain Plourde) of Notre-Dame and Julie (Stéphane Durepos) of Drummond. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
