Rick McGivney Obituary
In loving memory of Rick McGivney of Douglas, New Brunswick, born in Toronto, Ontario, who departed this world on April 10, 2025 at the age of 65. Rick leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John McGivney and Anna "Pauline" McGivney (Forbes); and his siblings, Cheryl and Johnny. He is survived by: his children, Shane Chiasson of Toronto, ON and Erika Marchment of Toronto, ON; his grandson Real Chiasson; his siblings, Barry Croll of Toronto, ON, Brian McGivney of Douglas, NB, Janet Ann Mason of Calgary, AB and Julie McGivney of Oshawa, ON; and his close friend Brian McAloon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the York Funeral Home (302 Brookside Dr, Fredericton, NB E3A5K2).
