He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Murphy and Mary Murphy (Dibblee); his wife Elizabeth Murphy (Smith); and his brothers, Merton, Willis and Raymond.
He is survived by: his children, Ltd, Kevin of Pearsonville, Kendrick (Sherry) of Cornhill, Alaine Murphy of Lower Millstream and Angie Steeves (Bruce) of Sussex; his siblings, Philip of Collina, Lewis (Debbie) of Sussex, Muriel Smith of Manitoba Road, Jean Murphy, Diana Murphy of Pearsonville and Isobel Vey; his grandchildren, Danielle (Mark), Anthony (Sam), Michael, Jacob, Melanie, Morgan and Melissa; his great grandchildren, Brett Devine, Brooklyn Reeves and Zac Steeves; and his siblings-in-law, Murray Smith and Evelyn Beaman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid 19, the family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 6pm at the Lester Cemetery (Lower Millstream) while attending feel free to share any memories of Doug, ALL COVID REGULATIONS APPLY.
