He was predeceased by: his parents, Muriel (Toole) and William Beed; his wife Katherine; and his brothers, Lloyd and Douglas.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey (Bernice) of Moncton and Scott (Sherri) of Amherst; his grandchildren, Kiersten, Ty, Burke and Lauren; and his sister Marilyn Blondeau (Gary).
