Melva Loretta Steen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melva Loretta Steen (Doaktown, New Brunswick), born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, who passed away on October 24, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Dollard Steen; her parents, William Bailey and Mary Bailey (Hopkins); her former husband Carl Russell; her grandsons, Ronald Porter and Darren Porter; her sisters, Jean Ward, Shirley Barrett and Viola Butt; and her stepson Buddy Steen.
She is survived by: her children, Denice Bailey (Robert), Nancy Pond (Calvin) of Musgravetown, NL and Brian Russell (Judy) of Blackfalds, AB; her stepdaughter Sherry Steen of St. George, NB; and her stepdaughter-in-law Barb Steen of St. George, NB. She is also survived by great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
