She was predeceased by: her husband Ray Betts; her parents, Walter Russell and Laura Russell (Storey); and her siblings, Ronald Russell, Elsie McCormick, Mildred O'Donnell, Kenneth Russell, Wendall Russell, Gary Russell, Buddy Russell, Stanley Russell, Eugene Russell and Lonnie Russell.

She is survived by: her daughters, Norma Peterson (Leo) of Fredericton and Margaret George (Chris) of Fredericton; her granddaughters, Leah Day, Laura Jewett and Kristin Ashworth; and her sisters-in-law, Jean Russell and Lois Russell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
