He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Curley (Storey) and Harold Curley; his grandson Matthew Forbes; and his sisters, Winnifred, Madeline and Connie.

He is survived by: his wife Joan Gail Curley (Clowater); his children, Harold Curley Jr. (Shirley) and Lana Forbes (Ross); and his grandchildren, Rachel, Sarah, Samuel and Lindsay Forbes.
