He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Fontaine and Madelaine Fontaine (Arsenault). He is survived by: his wife Sylvie Roussel-Fontaine; his sons, Jamie Fontaine (Jenni) of Calgary and Nicholas Bourdon of Montreal; his brothers, Alleson Fontaine (Yvette) of Gardener, Mass., Yvon Fontaine (Réjeanne) of Shediac and Roger Fontaine (Dorinne) of Dieppe; and his grandson Brandon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid-19, a service will be held at a later date.
