He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Stevenson and Lillian Stevenson. He is survived by: his wife Vera (Tonge-Melanson); his children, Brenda Chamberlain (Brian) and Rob Stevenson (Brigitte Mahoney); his siblings, Elizabeth Brown (Jack), John (late Beverly) and Brian Stevenson (Dale); his sisters-in-law, Arlene and Karen Stevenson; his son Terrance Melanson (Debbie Vanbuskirk); his grandson Dana Chamberlain; and his brothers, Gordon and Patrick Stevenson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick.
