With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ovila Melanson (Dieppe, New Brunswick), born in Moncton, New Brunswick, who passed away on March 31, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Rosanna; his wife Domitilde "Thilda"; and his siblings, Edgar, Alfred, Laurie, Gerald, Lina, Guy, Antoine and Adolphe.

He is survived by: his children, Michel, Yves (Jeanne), Lyne (Randy) and Lisa (Robert); his granddaughter Véronique; and his brothers, Aurèle and Emery. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
