She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Pitre and Ida Pitre (Drapeau); and her brother Emmanuel. She is survived by: her husband Luc J. Doucet; her daughters, Stéphanie (Philippe Landry), Geneviève (Mathieu Thériault), Maryse (Jean LeBlanc) and Marie-Claude (Mario Légère); her grandchildren, Gaëlle, Raphaëlle, Ophélie, Louka, Calix, Emmy and Lexie; and her siblings, Irène (Henri Lévesque), Odette (Claude Sivret), Gisèle (John Nawrocki), Guy (Nicole Richard), Daniel (Sharon Crandall) and Gilles (Lise Borris-Pitre).

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Tree of Hope or the Dr. Léon-Richard Oncology Centre can be made in Mona's memory.
