He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest and Rosaline; and his brother Daniel. He is survived by: his wife Karen Matthews; his son Tyler Cormier (Isabelle) of Riverview; his stepchildren, Jessica Gunn (Brad) of Moncton, James Calam of Riverview and Patrick Calam of Moncton; his siblings, Joanne O'Blenis (Brent) of Dieppe, Caroline LeBlanc (Jean-Noël) of Scoudouc, Maurice (Geraldine) of Beaumont, Euclide of Riverview, Gilles (Caroline) of Beaumont and Miville (Madelyn) of Halifax; and his grandchildren, Ruth, Tia, Brooklyn, Miriam, Catherine, Kolby and Joanna. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, a private burial will be held at a later date.
