She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Melanson and Ozina Melanson (Caissie); her husband Joseph Henry Petitpas; her son Alfred; her brothers, Hervé, Armand, Normand, Clorice and Zoel; and her stepsiblings, Delia, Alice, Antoine and Albenie.

She is survived by: her children, Stella Foran (Bernard), Jeanne Brophy (late Richard), Maria Drisdelle (Roland), Ginette Petitpas Taylor (Brock), Gerald (Janet), Armand (Andrea), Sanford, Hubert (Marie Reine) and Reginald (Louise); and her siblings, Jeannita Cormier (Aurele), Alfreda Gallant (late Neri) and Romeo Melanson. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Donations to the Peter McKee Food Bank would be appreciated by the family.
