He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephat Latour and Thérèse Latour (Carrière); his wife Della Latour (Collette); his sons, Reginald and Daniel; and his siblings, Pierrette, Agathe and Rénèe.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry McLaughlin of Moncton and Juanita Latour of Moncton; his grandchildren, Scott McLaughlin, Anne Marie McLaughlin, Monica Hay and Melissa Latour; his great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Cameron, Jaiden, Kaeson, Jordyn and Hunter; and his sister Hélène Latour. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
