He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Gallant and Ernestine Gallant (Gallant); and his brothers, Marc, Hubert, Bobby, Camille, Roméo and Hervé.

He is survived by: his siblings, Denise Duplessis of Shediac, Laura LeBlanc (Roméo) of Shediac, Florine Gallant of St-Antoine, Dorothy LeBlanc (Ovila) of Cap-Pelé, Louis (Brenda) of Shediac, Bernard (Lorraine) of Shediac and Joseph (Anita) of Moncton. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
