He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrien Bastarache and Adèle Bastarache; and his siblings, Evalina, Rita, Gemma, Placide, Robert, Zoël, Cerile, Joe, Clarence, Lionel, Emerie, André and Adélard.

He is survived by: his wife Viola; his children, Félice Maillet (Pierre) of Moncton, Charline Gould (Marcel) of Dieppe, Josette (Bruno Caron) of Moncton, Maurice (Hélène Caza) of Gatineau and Charles (Charline) of Moncton; and his sister Irma of Massachusetts. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
