She was predeceased by: her parents, Alyre Legere and Hélène Legere (LeBlanc); her husband Louis Y. Melanson; her son Gérard; and her siblings, Stella, Ulysse and Yvon.
She is survived by: her son Gilles of Moncton; and her sisters, Fernande Drisdelle (late Laurie) of Fox Hill, CT, Bernadette LeBlanc (late Richard) of Moncton and Thérèse Pollock. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre (88 Church St, Moncton, NB E1C4Z5). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ-Roi Church (300 Dominion St, Moncton, NB E1C6H6).
