It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Yvonne Benoit (Dalhousie, New Brunswick), born in Caraquet, New Brunswick, who passed away at the age of 99, on May 7, 2018. She was predeceased by: her parent William Lanteigne; her husband Valere Benoit; her sons, Claude and Gilles; and her siblings, Emilienne, Therese, Gertrude, Emile and Omer.

She is survived by: her parent Virginie Lanteigne (Doiron); her children, Antoinette McKuster of Melrose, Donat Benoit (Jeanne Mentis) of Dalhousie, Theresa Jennings (Everett Lavigne) of Dalhousie and Diane Benoit of Dalhousie; and her brother Marc Lanteigne of Caraquet. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
