He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacques "Jim" and Mélina Saulnier (LeBlanc); his wife Louise Saulnier; his children, Angela, Léo and Suzanne; and his siblings, Alyre, Aubin, Alphée, Joseph Ulysse, Anna and Laudia.

He is survived by: his children, Paul-Émile (Diane) of Shediac, Cecile Saulnier (Dave) of Shediac, Victor of Cormier-Village, Marcel of Cormier-Village and Angèle (Paul) of St-André; his granddaughters, Chantal, Jennifer, Christine and Kennedy; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Ashley; and his great great grandchild Jayden. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
