He was predeceased by: his parents, Tanis and Marguerite (Gallant); his daughter Charline Landry; and his siblings, Méderic, Marcel, Juliette and Elda.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Gallant (Robichaud); his children, Pierrette Gallant (Gérald Richard) of Grand-Barachois and Léon Gallant (Irma LeBlanc) of Grand-Barachois; his son-in-law Denis Landry of Cormier-Village; his sister Cécile Carrier (Élie) of Timmins, ON; his sisters-in-law, Hélène Belliveau of Timmins, ON and Lorraine Belliveau of Timmins, ON; his grandchildren, Rémi, Julien and Jasmine; and his great grandchildren, Olivier, Rosalie and Breelle. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
